About The Event
Keynote Speaker: Cheryl Calire
“I have called you by name; you are mine.” (Isaiah 43:1)
Join us for an inspiring evening dedicated to supporting moms and families in need. Cheryl Calire, a passionate advocate for life and founder of the Mother Teresa Home, will share her powerful journey and vision for the future. Hear how her work with Eternal Choice of Love, Inc. continues to bring hope through their new mobile medical sonogram van initiative.

Cheryl Calire was the Director of the Office of Pro-Life Activities for the Diocese of Buffalo for fifteen years until her recent retirement December 31, 2024. In that role she championed the St. Gianna Pregnancy Outreach Center in 2009 and proudly worked to help with the transition of the current 8 locations under the direction of OLV Charities.
Cheryl is still involved with end of life issues, the opioid crisis, as well as legislative matters. She is the founder of the Mother Teresa Home that was dedicated in the Year of Mercy in 2016 and named as the “institutional expression” for the Diocese of Buffalo as requested by Pope Francis, as a living memory and “work of living mercy”. It serves moms and families involved in unplanned and unsupported pregnancy. She and David, her husband of 30 years moved in to the empty rectory in the inner city of Buffalo to help oversee renovations in May of 2015, and have been blessed by an outpouring of support. Since the ministry opened in August of 2016, it has served 105 mothers and 107 babies until her retirement in December ‘24 where they are blessed that Cheryl Clark moved in to the Mother Teresa Home as the new Director.
Her latest endeavor has secured property next to the clinic to provide immediate access to a sonogram via a mobile van in conjunction with “Save the Storks”, conversation she held over 14 years ago. Currently, she is working with the team and the members of the up and running unit in Rochester, NY.
Her title and office has changed, however this to her is just one big “Yes”, applying her past business and marketing skills, one person at a time with faith, hope, love and a sprinkle of grit!
In “retirement” Cheryl and her husband David are now involved in a new 501c3, Eternal Choice of Love, raising funds for a mobile medical sonogram van! We are calling upon groups and organizations as we did with handhelds with Knights of Columbus and Catholic Health. Our goal is to work together in coalition with many more ministries and groups to bring the “Window inside the Womb” to all who desire. She has been blessed with five children and four grandchildren.
